Designed to take advantage of the natural features of the site, to maximize energy efficiency and to be a non-toxic healthy home, the Valley Farm home was awarded LEED for Homes Gold, 5-Star Built Green and Seattle Built Green 2009 Judges Choice Green Hammer Award.
Our first project, the Valley Farm Home, was also Bainbridge Island’s first LEED® certified home. Follow Up Home Performance Testing
Follow up testing on the house by Sound Home Performance in January 2010 after a year of occupancy again verified the integrity of construction and the effectiveness of the insulation.

The Valley Farm Home was awarded the Seattle Built Green 2009 Judges Choice Green Hammer Award.
Built Green® is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, developed in partnership with King County, Snohomish County, and other agencies in Washington state to set standards of excellence that can make a significant impact on housing, health and the environment and are readily "do-able" today.
